Yes, smoking impedes circulation & healing.
Wonderful decision & congrats on your first 28 hours of freedom from slavery!
You have come to the right place for support. I was a heavy 37 year smoker and quit 31 days ago!!! I never could have done it without this support group. It's really helped me. And reading Allen Carrs book "Stop smoking the easy way" helped me to get into the right mind set for quitting. I really recommend it. Just keep the attitude that you are never going to smoke again and keep plenty of distractions available whatever they are. I slept alot my 1st week to deal w/the withdrawal but it does pass. I can honestly say I rarely want to smoke anymore and its just been a month!!!
You can do this if you really want to... good luck. We're all here to support you!!!
I was a heavy smoker for 26 years and have now been smoke free for 31 days! Woot, WOOT! You can do it too!
Find things to keep you busy .. Spend time on DS, pencil puzzles, tootsie-pops, whatever it takes to keep you busy and distracted. You will start to feel better the more time you put between you and that last burning weed. It will also get easier as time goes on. Best wishes. VR
