I used to spend 5.20 on 20 cigarettes (is that around $9?)
In a club it was 6 for 16 cigarettes!!!!!!
We really should be rich now shouldn't we!!!
I still sometimes get a shock when i go to the corner shop for milk and it only costs me 1 rather than 6.20!!!!!
In Ontario cigarettes are now out of sight in stores. Cigarettes must not be visible to customers Province-wide. Pretty weird to walk into usual convenience stores and see walls of aluminum behind the store clerks now. I would be a little more shamed if I were still buying cigarettes today. I feel bad in a way for them, but on the other hand... maybe it's just the shove a few will need to try and pack it in!
