ooh that is fantastic jeanne .. I'm soo happy for you. Stay strong even tho your hubby smokes. My hubby quit 2 yrs ago but I didn't smoke infront of him or around him .. I don't know how didn't go back .. you can't go back! keep strong cause you're doin fantastic!!!!

Great job! That's got to be hard with someone smoking around you. I asked my son, who smokes, to take it elsewhere. His reply was, "Hey, this might help me cut down on my smoking too!" Yay! I don't know if I could do this if he continued to smoke around me. That takes strength. You've shown you have that strength. Keep going.

Congratulations on your one week. That's fantastic. Maybe you can work on gettin your husband to smoke outside, if he doesn't, or just in one room are area of the house, where you can open a window or a door.

I see from your status that you are looking after your great niece and nephew. I presume they are quite young. Does your husband smoke in the house when they are there?

If he does then he should be ashamed of himself imposing his smoke on young children.

If he does not then ask him to show you the same consideration that he shows to them.

I am sorry if my commemnts seem a bit harsh. I don't mean them to be but I do think your husband could give you a little more support at this difficult time.
