Sleep Apnea Support Group
Sleep apnea is a common sleep disorder characterized by brief interruptions of breathing during sleep. People with sleep apnea partially awaken as they struggle to breathe, but in the morning they may not be aware of sleep disturbances.
I use "pillow" masks (ResMed's P10 and currently testing a new mask from Fisher and Paykel called a "Brevida"). Neither blows are onto my face, in fact it is very hard to detect any exhaust air from either mask.
Since having SA is very deadly, you should try very hard to make changes in equipment to eliminate this issue.
"marsharebel 2.0" have you ever considered buying a "Quell Pain Relief" device? It has been found to be effective for fifro (and other types) of pain and is FDA approved for 24x7 usage. It looks to be something like a TENS device, but works totally differently.

Also, if your mouth gets dry, get some XyliMelts. This stuff is fabulous. I use two a night. Of course, you can use it any time, but I am a grazer of food and don't like the taste while eating.
My problem is that my whole mouth and throat get super dry, even way down into my throat (kind of kills the benefit of exhaustion relief). When I wake up I have to slowly drink some water to be able to swallow. God knows what is happening in my esophagus. I shudder to think.
I assume that you have, but have you been tested for Sjogren’s syndrome? Dry eyes, and trouble swallowing due to dryness, are both symptoms of Sjogren’s.

Another product that may help you is a prescription drug that helps your eyes (and mouth) to make more tears/moisture. There are 2 different drugs- pilocarpine (brand name-Salagen) and cevimeline HCL (brand name -Evoxac). These are both quite expensive, even the generic versions. I'm taking pilocarpine and I'm holding my breath to see what the pharmacy wants when I get in the "Donut Hole" as I'm on Medicare Part D for my medications.) I was taking 5 mg. - 3 times a day and learned that it was also available in 7.5 mg. and asked my rheumatologist to change it to 7.5 mg - 3 times a day. I'm getting better relief with the 7.5 mg.
Hopefully one of these suggestions will help you with your dry eye and/or dry mouth problems.
