Sleep Apnea Support Group
Sleep apnea is a common sleep disorder characterized by brief interruptions of breathing during sleep. People with sleep apnea partially awaken as they struggle to breathe, but in the morning they may not be aware of sleep disturbances.

Never tried it and no reviews have been written about it on the site I found, but it does use nasal pillows which I found leaked and were very uncomfortable for me. It's not a cheap system either! $161.00
Well, OK, I use a hybrid that has a mouthpiece, nasal pillows and straps, but it works for me. It allows me to read with the mask on which helps me fall asleep.
I hate having sleep apnea. I hate having to wear a mask hooked up to a machine at night. It's making me CRAZY. I started out with the full face mask, which made me look like an alien. I changed to nasal pillows b/c my mother recommended it. She has SA too. Nothing I've tried really helps. The type mask I asked about is the CPAP Pro. I wish I knew more about it. I'm going to the "Official" Sleep Apnea site to see if they have any info about it.

Have you heard of the Pure Sleep device? (Puresleep.com) It's a mouth piece that moves your jaw forward and is supposed to help with snoring. Mine arrived today and I'm going to give it a try. No mask, no straps, just a mouth piece similar to what athletes wear. My original intent was to hopefully have a travel aid so I didn't always have to lug my machine with me. If it works like they claim, I may give up the machine all together.
I tried the hybrid and it didn't work for me. I had high hopes but I never got a good seal with it. I'm back to my nasal pillows (Swift II) and am considering getting a nasal mask so that I can change them out when one or the other becomes irritating. My DME said they recommend people have both so you don't develop sore spots etc.
