Wolfandlamb, thats not a good trick, if your in the US and have insurance I think you get a new CPAP every 5 years, if not they are expensive depending on the make and model you have. If you let me know the brand and model I can give you an idea of the price.

Is the machine not running? Or is it running but the air is leaking out of the tubing? Tubing is relatively inexpensive.

Or maybe the power cord came off the machine. That would be even better. Just plug it back in.

The worst case scenario is that your current machine is broken and cannot be fixed. If you have insurance, you will pay your participating percentage for a new machine.

Again, the worst case scenario now is that you don't have insurance. In this case, for a brand new machine, expect to pay anywhere from $550 to $1,300 depending on what machine you like and what functions you desire.

My tube is broken, my mask is broken, and my pillow for my mask is broken. Insurance will send all new equipment on April 2, so I think I will tough it out.
