MAY BE I SSHOULD CHANGE THE MASK
What brand and model machine do you have?
i think i need a different mask
thanks for ur help
mouthbreathing with a nose only mask dries out your mouth which is noticed on waking
Tez gve you perfect advice. Your CPAP machine will need to be utilized every single night. It is not a therapy that will offer you any benefits by using it every now and then.
As Tez mentioned, once you stop using the CPAP machine, you will regress to where you started therapy very, very quickly, as in a day or two.
Please keep in mind that the machine needs to be used every single day and while you takes naps as well.
I believe CPAP users find the hardest part is finding the best mask that will work for them. Everyone has a different facial structure so you made end up hating a mask that works well for me and vice versa.
I would suggest hitting the Internet and trying different masks until you find one that you are comfortable with wearing nightly.

I have to download info from my machine and take it to my neuro appts to prove my compliance. Used 100%, avg 10 hours. The knowledge that my doc is keeping track of my CPAP usage is what "keeps me honest" so to speak. I take antihistamine and decongestant every day and every night to keep allergies in check. I think I'm allergic to Florida. LOL.
