Sleep Apnea Frustration Community Group
You've tried everything but still not feeling better, what next? I've gone to the extremes to make this go away, from C-pap machine to major surgery where I was told has a 95% success rate. How could I be in the 5%? I'm now looking at other surgeries because this affects my life.
Hi everyone, I'm in the same boat as everyone else i guess.
My problem is this. My Cpap works...but not very well. There's nothing wrong with the machine. The problem is this. If i didn't treat my sleep apnea, I would be a total basket case.
But using the Cpap only brings me up to the level of a Half a basket case.
I have not gone in for surgery and what not...my doctor has convinced me that the failure rate is so high.
I'm working on losing weight right now, to try and help fix the problem.
I guess what i'm hoping to find is a solution to this mystery...It would be nice to feel fully awake once in a while

I understand what you are saying... I'm still sleepy during the day..I've noticed it is even a stronger urge to sleep than before the bipap machine came into my life. Now I will be tested for narcolepsy--a condition that makes you sleepy. The Dr. says it is not curable but treatble. I reccomend you go back to the docter and check into more solutions!! best of luck to you~

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
