I prefer to avoid sun as much as I can, I take vitamin D instead.
I want to avoid more surgeries, biopsies, scars.
In any case, it is very important that when taking vitamin D supplements that you also take vitamin K2. The research is very clear that vitamin D in a pill does not provide the same benefits as getting vitamin D the way man has for hundreds/thousands of years. I noticed on my last lab report that the lab could tell that my vitamin D level was caused by supplementation.
Anyone taking a vitamin D supplement should also be taking K2. I do not, because I have an odd reaction to it; even with a very small dosage. This is even more important if a person is also taking a calcium supplement. How do you think calcium gets into a person's bones and teeth and not just stay in the arteries and heart? Sun provided vitamin D provides the pathway, supplemental D does not, without taking K2.
Overall, a very interesting, and complicated, subject and the science does not have all the answers to skin cancer even though they like to preach that they do.
