For those who remember by earlier discussions. I am going to get my basal cell carcenoma on my nose done by flap surgery on October the 10 which is good. Will still have foot plaster on so will still be non weight bearing on right foot (its for 8 weeks sfter surgery).
I am in rehab at the moment & luckily got traferred to the hospital that is closest to me too so easier for hubby to visit. Foot has been done & very painful. Have written more in journal.

Just an update, the surgery is now changed to October 17th. Not real happy but can't fight it.

Thanks for reminding me to update too.
I went there thinking that I was getting a nse flap surgery but when Dr saw it said too big for that & needed skin graft.
He took skin from in front of ear. I now have a huge wad of padding on my nose & covering on the graft spot too.
Still very sore for sure. Apparently it will heal up very quickly this way too.

The huge wad of packing has been removed & I now have a smaller packing on it which is good. The graft site is covered the same way. This was supposed to be changed next Wednesday so I hope the wound nurse is on as she is very good with doing wounds & bandaging etc. I go back to the hospital where it was done in 2 weeks.
Still very painful but apparently healing well & stitches are out too.
Not sure if people are reading this or not but hope so.
