Squamous Skin Cancer + DMI

I'm new.  Husband has had various cancers over the last 15 years.  Still has lymphoma. He has had 4 MOHS surgeries in the last 5 years for squamous on his head. 


*** The dr is talking about using DMI instead of doing MOHS?


I've researched it, but find over little info.


Anyone ever using DMI (which I'm guessing is Desipramine?---and is mainly used as an antidepressant???)

Sorry, but I have never heard of "DMI". You may want to call the doctor's office and have them spell out what DMI translates too. Probably would save you a lot of time Internet searching.

I also have no idea about this. Even looked it up and it went straight over my head.

If you are confused and unsure about anything the doctor has said you have every right to ask as many questions as you need till you are satisfied and understand their reasoning.

Don’t feel scared or bad your / he is the patient and it’s his life they are dealing with, you need to feel safe and comfortable
