Hi everyone,
Three weeks ago my life was turned upside down. I have squamous cell carcinoma of the anus which has spread to the lympth nodes and liver. I have radiation 5 days/week for 6 weeks. I had chemo pump for 96 hours at beginning and then again at end of treatment plan. Once I am through treatment plan, I will have another pet scan to see if cancer is gone. If cancer is still there more chemo and maybe surgery. I am looking for recommendations on what helped with mouth sores, naseua and skin irritation from radiation. I was also wondering how others feel physcially from the radiation/chemo. I am raising 2 of my grandchildren and live on a horse farm. I need more energy. Has anyone had a similar diagnosis?

For radiation, you have to ask your radiologist what and when to use.
I wish you the best,that you get well soon. I know how hard can be, I did not have a pump, it was slow drip.
For energy you also can ask your doctor advise, there are many things to boost your energy.
