I know that the spot seems to bring on lots of uncontrolled thoughts, and, especially, I know what it feels like to be frightened during a medical crisis. And it may only appear that the doctor is to blame for not giving close attention to your earlier concerns. Yet, in the case of better understanding, not all issues are a noticeable problem to PCP or even specialists. Many doctors, from the initial point of a patient's concern, choose not to show a strong reaction to a health concern, in the matter of observation only, they may choose to wait and watch for changes, and there are some occurrences that are not so bold-face as others may be, so doctors prefer to delay checking into a medical matter until deemed especially necessary. Yet I do believe that words should have been passed between the doctor and you to help you better understand his/her choice to not look in to the root of your concerns at that time. So sorry for that! I'd be upset as well. However, it's not too late to go back to the origin of the problem, and seek for your doctor's reason for avoiding your interest at that particular time, when you first brought the spot to attention, or ask why this person thought it best not to do a biopsy. I think that now is the time to be a bit more analytical. You deserve not to be ill-informed with what's to come of it all in the future. Hopefully there's nothing to be concerned with, too.
I will tell you that with trials of health scares comes a habit to imagine the worst, as expected, and this is a normal reaction to the unknown, of course. Yet the problem only feeds on fear and worry, which worry will only lead to other sickness and possibilities of continued health problems. An additional danger is spiritual failure; and at this time it's so important to take faith and trust in God very seriously. God heals. At best, I hope this recent health scare will develop in a way that will increase your faith in feelings of strength and not self-doubt. And I know this is a great challenge for you. Cancer is pressure. But doubtful thoughts often will increase ideas of failure; so let that not be your option to doubt; do keep hopeful. Find ways to comfort during spells of anxiety and fretful thoughts and feelings. You need your strength, a clear mind and lots of friendly support from family and friends. Pray often. God be with you.
Best to you today with warm & loving thoughts for your healing. :-)
