Could this be skin cancer?

Hello all,

My daughter (9) has a mole on her back that is dark in color and edges are oddly shaped. It is not very large but has me concerned.
We can't get into the dermatologist office for another month, so I am pretty worried since we have such a long wait.

Any help is apperciated

and if you are seriously thinking it is cancer...than a month is too long.....have the primary cared doctor call the dermo and get you in sooner.

Make an appointment with her pediatrician, better in a children hospital where they have dermatologist that work only with kids this way she can be seen earlierm

The cancer commonly develops on the area of the sun-exposed skin. Here is a really good article which tells you early signs and symptoms of skin cancer. And if you got a single symptoms out of this, then immediately go for checkup, it will helps you being proactive and be alert before situation worsens.
