sjs people have dryer, thinner skin and, therefore, more sensitive to skin issues.
Have a nice day.
Sorry for the late reply. Just saw your post and thought I would reply. I started having these red and painful bumps, usually in my arm pits, but sometimes on my face, breasts, belly, and thighs. Sometimes they leak a fluid and sometimes they just go away on their own without opening. I saw several doctors when it all first started. An ER doc said it was folliculitis and put me on antibiotics. Another said it was acne and told me to switch deoderant. Finally, a doctor was able to tell me that what I actually have is called hidradenitis suppurtiva. This is from apocrine (or sweat glands) becomming inflammed and infected. People with SJS are more likely to have this.
I have very dry skin, especially on my head. I have found that taking flax seed oil and fish oil, 4000mg ea, has helped.

I had a skin check as I live in Australia & the Dr kept saying how good my skin was especialy as I am over 60 & live in Australia. He kept on how moisturized it was. I thought about it later as I do look after my skin but can't reach my back. My hair dresser said my hair was in better condition so I am sure it is all the flaxseed, fish oil & krill oil I take. I have started taking a hair, nail & skin supplement, so maybe they all help. My nails are still very flakey though.
