savella?

My primary gave me a month trial of savella but I am on meloxicam from Rumy. I have read I can't take both. My primary says she is sure I have fibro. with sjs. Does anyone have any experience with savella?

I am on both meds also. Been on meloxicam from rheumy for sjs for 3 years and my GP added Savella in the spring for fibro symptoms.

Turns out GP was right, i changed rheumy's and got diagnosed with fibro and SJS secondary to the fibro.

I LOVE what the Savella did for me pain-wise. if you decide to take it, you should watch your blood pressure though. Savella has been known to increase it.

I was diagnosed with SS and Fibromyalgia this past April. They tried both Cymbalta and Savella on me for the pain. I did not feel relief from either drugs. The Savella made me extremely nauseaous....to the point of needing to lie down about a half hour after taking it. A good friend of mine is on it and has the same side effect. Good luck!
