radiating back pain

Anyone have pain beginning in lower back and going around to lower abdomen? CAT of pelvic area was ok.

Janda. The nerves coming from the spinal column move in that manner. You may have a problem there. A CAT scan picks up a lot, but for problems like that, you may need an MRI as well. Discuss with your doctor that the problem is still there.
A lot of people use different types of treatment for problems like this like chiropractic care, accupuncture, etc. But discuss with your physician and see if further testing can be done to determine the cause.

I have always been told that the stomach muscles are completely entwined with the lower back and the stronger you can make those muscles the better your back will feel. Chiropractic techniques have always helped me when it comes to the lower back and I very often ice that area as well. You may find relief with these measures. It is not always serious but when muscles, tendons, etc get inflammed they can put some serious pressure on nerves which only perpetuates the pain. A vicious cycle.

I have lower back pain which radiates down my leg and found out i have osteoarthritis but also just found out i have inflamation in my intestines which causes pain in that area as well. Do you have any digestive issues?

I've always had some sort of digestive issue- hiatel herni, reflux, esophageal spasm, etc, so inflammation of intestines wouldn't surprise me! What seems to help you?
