I have a bit of a controversial question. I have recently had a huge increase in pain associated with the disease. Lots of joint issues. OTC stuff does absolutely nothing for it. Percocet helps, but isn't a long term solution. Has anyone employed the use of medical marijuana? I don't want my doctor to think I am looking to get high, so I don't even know how to bring it up during an appointment. And I don't know if I should ask my PCP, who I would see sooner than my rheumotologist, or wait to ask my rheumy. ANY opinions/experiences would be so appreciated! It's awful to be in pain, and I am now in the throes of a very cold Maine winter. It's not fun to clean off solid ice from my car with this kind of discomfort. I know you all know what it feels like, so I send support to you as well!
