Sjogren's syndrome is an autoimmune disorder in which immune cells attack and destroy the exocrine glands that produce tears and saliva. It also associated with rheumatic disorders such as rheumatoid arthritis, and it is rheumatoid factor positive in 90 percent of cases.
I have a pain beyween my shoulderblades that gets worse with a sjogrens flare. It feels like restless leg syndrome with pain. It gets bad . I have a preexisting back problem and cant tell if this.is from a neuropathy or not. I need to get an MRI of my thorasic spine. I have had many lumbar serjuries and am unsure if my uppet back is over compensating. I also welcome any friends as I am new here.

I have the same type of pain and restless leg syndrome symptoms. I found relief with Requip for a few years. It them became ineffective. I now take Mirapex twice a day, It has taken away my restless leg syndrome. It has also helped the pain. It has not completely resolved the pain, but it is more tolerable. I hope you find this helpful.

I found your post intriguing. I have a borderline Sjogren's diagnosis. I have a LOT of pain between my shoulder blades. I have had theraputic massage which helps a lot, but I can't afford it. PT and dry needling, which also helps a lot, but my insurance company cut me off. I have Fibromyalgia too. I don't have RLS that I know of, but I do experience a LOT of muscle pain all the time.

Sounds just like Fibromyalgia. Have your rheumy check you for it. Sternum will usually hurt too.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus).
