Sjogren's syndrome is an autoimmune disorder in which immune cells attack and destroy the exocrine glands that produce tears and saliva. It also associated with rheumatic disorders such as rheumatoid arthritis, and it is rheumatoid factor positive in 90 percent of cases.
I was diagnosed and put on plaquenil in December of 2009. My dr stopped plaquenil due to a rash I just developed. What other treatments are some of you on? I am scared of the sides....

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? I've been taking Methotrexate in a low oral dose for about 5 years. I love it! I can't imagine trying to get along without anything.
If this doctor won't do something else, then consider finding a new doctor. They are not created equal to say the least.
