Hi all,

I started using Aquaphor ointment to moisturize my lips a few years ago because it was the only thing I could find that worked. Unfortunately, it doesn't have any sunscreen in it, so I thought I'd ask for recommendations. I live at high altitude in a dry climate that can get very cold in the winter.

Lizard Lips has SPF 22. I think Burt's Bee's Lifeguard's Choice is about the same. Nivea makes an SPF 30 lip balm as does Blistex. Even Cover Girl makes SPF 15 in their lip gloss. I think my Avon stuff is SPF 15 too.

In a quick internet search I also found Shiseido Sun Protection Lip Treatment SPF 36, which is $20 at Macy's and Sephora.

I really like Blistex Deep Renewal. It's only SPF 15, but it's really creamy and moisurizing. Lizard lips does the job, but it's dry and chalky. Burt's Bees are good, but many of them have too strong a fragrance.

I just bought the LipCotz with SPF 45. So far I really like this product. I did search around for the best price and least expensive shipping before I ordered.

Neosporin makes lip moisturizer in a little white tube. it has SPF 30 (or even 50 - don't have it handy to double check).

That is the absolute best lip moisturizer i have ever used!!! Where i used to use 3-4 applications of ultra chap stick just to make it a little better, now i use one application of Neosporin and am good to go for 12 hours.
