Sjogren's Syndrome Support Group
Sjogren's syndrome is an autoimmune disorder in which immune cells attack and destroy the exocrine glands that produce tears and saliva. It also associated with rheumatic disorders such as rheumatoid arthritis, and it is rheumatoid factor positive in 90 percent of cases.
Daiichi Sankyo, Inc., the marketers of prescription Evoxac (cevimeline HCl), have received requests from news reporters who would like to interview adult patients about their experience with dry-mouth symptoms associated with Sjgren's syndrome, and who have taken their medication. If you are an adult with Sjgren's who currently uses Evoxac to treat dry-mouth symptoms related to Sjgren's syndrome, Daiichi Sankyo, Inc. would like to determine your interest or, that of your family member, in sharing your experience with the media or other patients. Please understand that this would be voluntary and interviews or other activities will be arranged around your availability.
