Contact lenses

Anyone able to wear contact lenses with sjogren's syndrome? Or due to dry eye will I be wearing glasses?

I stopped wearing contacts when they got stuck in my eyes because they were so dry. I had to lay back and soak my eyes for ten mins in solution before I could get them off my eye. It scared me because a year before that I had a cornial tear.
Now my cornias are deteriorating from the dryness. contacts are out of the question for me. I can't even get the surgery to correct my vision. I just bought new glasses and I love them.

Ditto for me...Contacts were hard to remove in a very scary way. Then I was diagnosed with corneal dystrophy from the dryness and told my cataracts can't be corrected unless I have a corneal transplant first. I'm a lot older than you are, but I've wondered daily whether I ruined my eyes wearing contact lenses that stripped my eyes of moisture every minute I was wearing them. My advice--Get a killer pair of glasses and learn to love them!
