I have candida everywhere inside and outside of my body. I was told it's pretty much systemic.
I am receiving treatment from a woman in a natural food store and it is working so far.
I've gradually become sicker over the past 7 or more years with yeast problems.
Recently, I had chronic diareah with undigest food too. I have what I believe to be yeast blisters on my back. Yeast infections in every orific.
Headaches, lowered energy and on and on.
I take meds for the lack of saliva and stuff like that due to SS.
I am begining to wonder if my problem isn't more of yeast rather than true SS.
I am now on a very rigid diet.
I'm taking "CandiGone" 2 x daily and probiotics, IntstiNew and essential enzymes.
The diareah STOPPED!
The bloating is way down.
The crabbiness is calming way down.
I'm experiencing fewer yeast symptoms ie itching.
Has anyone gone through this?

I went to the doctor a while ago to see about my allergies. He rubbed my arm and stuck things under the skin. Nothing. He poked and prodded, his phlebotomist drew so much blood people thought that we were dating. The tests all came back negative. Then one day I went back and I told him that I had found the cause of my allergy. It turns out, I am allergic to betrayal.

This isn't really bipolar related but there is never anyone on the parenting groups, this is the most active group I've been in.My 6yr old son has really bad seasonal allergies and they're in full force right now. He gets a terrible cough; he coughs all day and all night, making it hard for him to sleep, and his nose runs.I've tried every allergy medicine, OTC and RX, and none of them affect his...
Examples: milk has latose and lactose is milk sugar. Anything that ends in OSE is sugar.
NO pork.
Basically, my diet is green veggies, any type of fish or meats except no pork.
I use spelt or kamut bread, Raw almond butter and Eden apple butter. I think the apple butter is the only thing that has a little sugar in it.
Oats are not allowed either.
Kamut rice is okay too.
Soy is okay.
I'll have to get out my diet plan and be more clear later.
The bloating in my face and belly has gone WAY DOWN.
Head aches are going away.
Swelling and the need for lasix is almost gone.
Torn up skin and severe dryness is gone.
I no longer need Salagen.
I am producing my own eye fluid, saliva.
I have not tried to go without the prem cream. I think I may still need that just due to menopause and age.
I may try to deal with this in a natural way too.
If you want more data, do a post and I'll respond.
Oh my depression and rages are mostly gone too.
Xylitol is the best sugar substitue because it has proven antifungal and inhibits candida yeast. Stevia and Stevia Plus can be used as a sugar substitute.
The yeast infection diet calls for NO fruits and fruit juices due to natural sugar content.
YESGreen apples (Granny Smith), avocadoes, grapefruit, lemons and limes can be used.

YES Raw Almond butter
Braggs Liquid Aminos
Spelt or Kamut bread
I am aslo using (CandiGone). This has a tincture and capsules. I am also using IntestiNew along with Swansons Ultimate Probiotic.
The probiotics cannot be used for 4 hours after the (CandiGone) because it will kill good and bad flora so it will waste your money. After 4 hours then use the probiotic so you get good flora.
I've dropped a lot of weight and inches so fast it's unreal. I was super infected and had severe diareah, headaches, rages, exhaustion and so on.
Since I've started this 1.5 weeks past, I've been able to go off many of my meds.
I am only using one asthma med over 5 to 7 meds.
I no longer need salagen.
I've dropped most of my meds and no problem.
So it appears that this candida infection is the biggest culpret.
My skin isn't even dry now.
My skin is healing for the first time in over 7 years.
I hope this helps you and I hope others that have a lot of thrush try this.
Hey, ya never know if it's really something different causing these problem.
In short the diet I am doing for candida differs somewhat & less complimcated.
Green veggies
Granny Smith apples
fish yet no shell fish
Braggs liquid Amino for flavoring
splet and/or kamut bread
Raw Almond butter
Eden's Apple Butter spread
PLAIN yogart...I add flavored powered such as pumpkin, cinomin, clover, nutmeg and Xylitol for sweetness.
Sometimes, I've used avacado mashed into lettuce with either fish or a raw almond butter and a slice of splet or kamut.
Sometimes I use 2 to 4 baby red potatoes.
For an entire meal, I've used 3 baby red potatoes diced and steamed.
1 zuccini diced and steamed.
1 talopia fish steamed with Braggs liquid amino
Then I mix the veggies and put them around the fish to get some of the Braggs seasoning.
The above is a pleasant meal.
This is extremely limiting.
I went to a natural food store that has a nutritionist working there.
She helped me a lot.
1 head cauliflower
2 carrots
1 yellow onion (baseball sized)
5 or 6 spinach leaves
black pepper and kosher salt to taste
You just roughly cut the veggies, and put them in a good soup pot and then cover the veggies with water. Boil them until soft, and then put the veggies in a blender and blend until smooth...reserve the liquid from the pot and add to the blender to make the consistency you want. It usually makes about 8 cups of soup. I don't normally add salt, and only add pepper, and sometimes coriander. would that be okay?
I like the sound of your recipie.
I know carrots are controverced so I won't use them till it's said to be okay.
What do you think I could sub the carrots and colliflower with to be on the safe side.
It crossed my mind to use celerly and some other green veggie.
Please tell me more of your ideas.
I hope you enjoy it!
Love,
Heather
You are a wonderful help to me and this is the reason.
I only learned to cook a few years ago.
Now, I must learn to cook an ANTI-CANDIDA style. Of course, I'm lost again.
I never married or had children. I wanted both but never experience either. So, I never learned to cook. Then I started caring for some sick people and someone had to cook and freeze food for me because my cooking was so pathetic. It took a very long time to learn. Then I finally came to love cooking and became a very good cook. I say this because others loved my cooking.
Glitch!
Now what to do.
A friend who is now deceased taught me to cook.
Now I need you and anyone who will help me learn to cook this new way so it will be tasty and I will not fail in getting well.
Thank you for your ideas.
I have copied and pasted them on my computer so I will not lose the recipe ideas.
Please keep helping me.

Can you eat mangoes? I have a killer Mango salsa recipe that is awesome with fish. I'll give it to here, just in case:
Two mangoes (very ripe and juicy!)
Red cabbage 1/4 cup
5 green onions
1 small red bell pepper
Cilantro to taste
roughly chop the veggies in a blender or food processor. Add the mango (diced) and blend until mixed well through, but try not to over blend or you get goo.
I also have a recipe for a cool cucumber dill dip that is great with fish:
1 small cucumber (peel and remove the seeds)
3 green onions
1 tbl or to taste fresh baby dill
Either yogurt or sour cream
Cut the cucumber into small dices. Dice the green onions. For the baby dill, remove the fragile ends from the hard stocks using your fingers...you just pull them off the stocks. Cut the baby dill very fine, until you have about a table spoon. Add the cucumber, green onion and baby dill to the plain yogurt or sour cream. Allow to chill before serving for best flavor. Tastes even better the next day, and goes perfect with salmon!
My family hated fish (my brothers and sisters and mom) but I got them to love salmon by poaching it with lemon slices (so the house didn't stink) and giving them the cucumber dip along with it. They ate it all up and asked for seconds.
The mango salsa is really good with tilapia and snapper. If you can't have the mango, just the combo of veggies and cabbage might be nice on the fish. I used to make fish tacos with corn tortillas, but you could probably use a good flavorful lettuce instead of a tortilla, and make a fish taco using the mango salsa minus the mango?
I am antiphalactic allergic to cucumbers.
I've never heard of anyone else with this issue.
The Candida diet doesn't allow any fruit.
I love mango and made tea, hot cereal and stuff like that with it. Now, I can't have it.
I don't know if this will change in the futer but for now, there is no fruit for the fruit lover.
Heather, you have fabulous cooking skills and ideas.
