Hey, I’m there right with ya! I have a 10 month old baby boy and my husband wants to get a divorce. I can’t believe this is happening. My world is crushed. We have been together for 11 years and married 2 years in March. I’be asked him to please try for the sake of our son and we can go to counselling but he wants nothing to do with me or speaking to me! My heart is broken and i feel paralyzed! I go back to work in 2 weeks from mat leave and i don’t know how i will get through the day!

Hopefully you all have husbands that plan to co-parent. I left my husband after 3 years and I'm waiting for final divorce papers in the mail. He was emotionally abusive and it would not be good for me or our daughter for me to stay. We have a 2 year old. We are co-parenting 50/50. I miss her when i don't have her, but the 2,2,3 schedule seems to work for all of us. I don't go more than 3 nights without her. Some nights are easier than others. It is sad we don't get to see her grow together and she will miss out, but it is so so important to develop a great co-parenting relationship no matter how hard it is sometimes. It is better for the kids. It KILLS me when she screams for her Dad, I just have to remind myself what I did was right and make her feel loved and safe. Pay extra attention to your little ones. Do fun tings together and make memories. take care of YOURSELF too! You need to be healthy for you and them. Go to therapy, maybe you will find out this is a blessing! Keep yourself busy when you aren't with your kids. Join a gym or a club. See friends you have put off seeing. Take a break! Good luck ladies!

I’m in almost the exact same
Boat, only married a year. My son is the same age as yours. It kills me to know he will grow up in 2 different homes, being shuffled back and forth. I know a lot of kids do it , but it doesn’t make it okay. It hurts so bad to know that our husbands don’t understand the damage they are doing . I would do anything for my child to have a stable home with two loving parents

Well its one of the hardest jobs in the world but prepare yourself emotionally by joining a single parents group and make sure they're not the type to poor gasoline on the fire that was your relationship life now is about you and that little girl, you will become stronger and demonstrate to her that you both can be loving parents apart there s no way to make him want o be there for you so if he is unwilling to do family or separation counselling to benefit your daughter then let go of that anchor God Bless.

You and your little girl deserve amazing lives. Be strong in yourself. Let your daughter know how much you love her and keep her from ever being put in the middle of it all. After the storm there is always a rainbow. Sometimes the worst turns in the road are the best paths when you look back. It may be hard and challenging, but keep your head up. You will learn you are capable of so much.
