Oh no, it wasn't my doc who told me I was fucked, it was my ex-fiance who is a psychiatrist that told me that.

This group used to be so cool when I was in it about 3 years ago....now it's "fucked" as you would say....I would like to be replying on "tired of being single" rather than how "fucked" someone thought I was....who cares what others think? In answer to your question, Murphy23, I do get lonely sometimes, but with what I'm going through right now, I'm actually glad that I'm single. I don't know how a significant other, even the most understanding one, would react to my situation.

However, I do hold out hope that there are people who are understanding and compassionate enough to love us despite the disorder.

I agree.... I am in no place right now to be involved. Which is a good thing to recognize. But I just wonder IF I ever will be, and when that time comes if there will be someone who can handle and accept all my crazy;)

l put myself out there probably too soon after my split from my ex but l was tired of being sad, there are some sex mad married men wishfully thinking out there but in between all that are some great men and l think l just found one.......did l mention how happy l am, and l was about to take a time out too when we met....

l joined some online dating sites to gain some confidence and had a great time chatting who knew this would happen l didn't but l had to try and even if it doesn't workout l've found my mojo....yay!!

I have the same problem as you Murph, I'm not in a place where I can make a relationship work but yearn for that day whenever it comes. I'm often afraid it will never arrive.
