I don't mean to trivialize your distress in any way, or to use some stupid, trite aphorism, but if you're just getting into your 20s, you're still young enough that you've got your best years ahead of you, relationship-wise. Do you know that the human brain doesn't even stop developing until around age 25? So as hard as being alone is for you, it could be a blessing in disguise - you could make some serious errors in judgment right now that you could really come to regret later.

I'm honestly not trying to say, "you're young, it's no big deal." I understand how painful not having someone in your life can be. Maybe try taking this time to really focus on developing a sense of yourself, and your desires out of life, so that when you do meet someone you're confident enough not to sacrifice what matters to you just so that you can not be single.
