Shyness Support Group
Shyness is a feeling of insecurity that certain people experience while being among others, talking with others, asking favors of others, etc. The initial cause of shyness can vary. Scientists have located some genetic data that supports the hypothesis that shyness is at least partially genetic.
Of course, I will face some challenges when I begin looking for a job. The two big ones are that I haven't worked in eleven years, and I have only one good reference person. I haven't worked due to depression and Post-traumatic Stress Disorder. Employers want people to have at least three references, sometimes more. But I do believe there must be a job for me somewhere, if I can find someone who is willing to give me a chance. I am a hard working person.
How is everyone else doing?
I feel as though I do not have friends either. When I call them they are slow to retrun my calls. When they call me I pick up the phone. I feel that I am there for them and they are not there for me.
There is a way to get around using references. If you have not worked for sometime you can always say you have been in business for yourself and use people you know as clients who can be references for you.
Good luck
