Shyness Support Group
Shyness is a feeling of insecurity that certain people experience while being among others, talking with others, asking favors of others, etc. The initial cause of shyness can vary. Scientists have located some genetic data that supports the hypothesis that shyness is at least partially genetic.

I just thought I'd post this information for anyone who would like to know: The website meetup.com has listings of support groups and meetings on a variety of issues, including shyness support groups. If you can find one in your local area, good for you, but even if you can't, the meetup.com website can provide you with assistance in starting your own group - perhaps not as difficult as you might think. Really, all you need is a room in which to meet and a way to get the word out; you might want to visit ascasupport.org and read Scott's story for inspiration.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
I went to my first meeting last week and I had the option to join in table topics and I did because I intend to conquer my fear. I did get nervous but I can't overcome it if I don't do anything.
