Shyness Support Group
Shyness is a feeling of insecurity that certain people experience while being among others, talking with others, asking favors of others, etc. The initial cause of shyness can vary. Scientists have located some genetic data that supports the hypothesis that shyness is at least partially genetic.

I am interested in joining or starting a way for shy folks like us to get to know and help each other in our common condition of shyness, or social awkwardness. So far, I have only the following ideas: a shy individual could be matched with another person(s) in his/her local community/town (Buddy System), or a group of shy people could meet initially online, then meet as a group at a local place such as a church or coffee shop (Mutual Support Circle). Some people might choose to never go beyond online meetings, and that might be fine, but ideally each person would be encouraged to meet others by phone or in public places to practice social skills, learn how to be at ease around other people, share ideas, and have fun. Perhaps we could see a movie or go for a walk. I do not know how to turn my ideas into reality, so any comments by any of you would be welcome.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
Saw other people writing that and wanted to try it.
