The horse and his rider carefuly manuvered through the wipping wind.

The rain was being whip into his face so hard that it felt like he was being cut.

When all hope was lost...he saw a flicker of light in the distance.

It was his sweet lady...for he has not seen her beauty for what seemed a life-time.

She sat peering through the window into the darkness watching for her love to come safely home. The soft candle light behind her caused her hair to appear as soft and golden as halo around her angelic face. Spurring his horse at a faster pace, his heart racing at the mere sight of her...

what she didn't know is that a stanger just came into the door to cause her some harm

But when the stranger hoped the door he realized it was in long lost sister that had been put for adoption shortly afterbirth

he looked her in the eye and stabbed the knife right into her chest and told her 'I have been dreaming of doing this for a very long time' he watched her life force drain out of her eyes as she slumped to the floor - the blood all over him. he raised his hand up to his mouth to have a taste of it

She screamed and sat up in bed, sweeting and breathing heavily. the nightmare had been horrible, she was shaking and new she couldn't go back to sleep. Shaking her hair she looked over at her exhausted husband asleep from his long journey home in the stormy rain shower earlier in the evening. She crept out of bed, crossing quietly to the window. The sun was just rising, she opened the window to smell the clean fresh scent of the earth after a refreshing rain. Everything was shiny green from the refreshing bath mother nature had given.

but then she heard someone creeping up the stairs

Her breath caught in her throat ans she turned in the direction of the stairs. After that terrible nightmare her heart began to race. Suddenly, a head appeared just above the top steps......

With a huge sigh of reliefe and a smile on her face she crouched down to scoop up her Ivy, her little maltese puppy as she came running to her. she cuddled her soft warm furr in her face and turned to notice her husband watching her from the bed. she smiled in return. "Lets do something crazy exciting today, what do you say?" She laughed softly. "Crazy?, like what?" He jumped out of bed and as he was getting dressed he said, "You'll see, get dressed and meet me downstairs." Happily and the nightmare forgotten she deposited Ivy on the bed so she could hurriedly get dressed an join him for one of his creative crazy ideas he was so famous for.

while she was gettting ready...down stairs her husband was talking in a whisper "you'll get the money soon, the insurance is for 2 million don't worry"

He handed the stranger a rough wooden box with a with a gold lock. The stranger stuffed the box into his travel bag and turned to leave. As he opened the door he turned to see Desaree desending the stairs look as beautiful as ever! He quickly turned to leave before she could see him and wonder why he was there at her home so early in the morning when he lived 20 miles away.

he drove down the lane and stopped to look at the box, he wondered to himself...how could this little box cause so much trouble. he knew the answer only oh to well. he debated whether to open it or not, decided not to and wondered how a seemly nice couple could be involved in something like this. I guess it takes all kinds he thought to himself and drove away.

Desaree excited as a child hug here husband and asked "what do you have in store for me now darling?"
