Shyness Support Group
Shyness is a feeling of insecurity that certain people experience while being among others, talking with others, asking favors of others, etc. The initial cause of shyness can vary. Scientists have located some genetic data that supports the hypothesis that shyness is at least partially genetic.
I started a post on 'Why R U Shy' and in a lot of the responses I heard, "I was picked on in shcool"
What or why do you think kids pick on other kids? What makes kids so mean as to hurt another child feelings? Is is our inborn nature to climb the social ladder even at that age or is it lack of being taught proper manners and behavior by parents? Or is it from the behavior of parents themselves. Are those bullies, bullied at home and mistreated so they take it out on kids they can at home. Or do you think kids listen and over hear every comment they hear us make on the phone and to friends. Do parents set the example of how kids behave and treat other kids or is it nature that controls a childs behavior?
Just food for thought and opportunity to practice sharing and overcome shyness. Say anything you want. Go for it!

may sound cruel but thats how character is formed. i was picked on school, and i spent a friendless existence until the 3rd grade
my brother noticed and started to pick on me, he knew i would fight back, cause i always do at home. with that in mind he picked on me just so i could fight back and other kids would see that im stepping against a bigger kid than me
if wasnt for my big brother i would have probably have never developed character on my own...
all you need is one big moment to shine, and youll be set for life n_n
