Shyness Support Group
Shyness is a feeling of insecurity that certain people experience while being among others, talking with others, asking favors of others, etc. The initial cause of shyness can vary. Scientists have located some genetic data that supports the hypothesis that shyness is at least partially genetic.

I'd be more outgoing
I'd probably be able to do better on interviews.
I'd feel better about myself.
I'd be able to talk to people I don't really know better.

I'd smile back to people who smile at me on the street and let them know how much i appreciate it sometimes.
I'd apprieciate every second and live like every day was my last.
I'd let people see the real me more often.
I'd solve a lot of problems just by talking about them.
I could tell a joke and not feel stupid when no one laughs.
I wouldn't sit in the back corner seat of a lecture.
I wouldn't be embarrased to just be me.
feel more accepted.
feel less judged.
be more social.
have less anxiety
go back to school.
become a nurse.
not second guess every decision I make.
be friendlier
not feel like I have to apologize for not having anything to say
not worry about having strangers overhear me
not expect and rely on others to do the talking for me
feel connected
be spontaneous
trust myself
i want to be more comfortable in my shy skin, but i don't think i want to shed it altogether.
If I wasn't shy...I would have some great conversations, because I have some interesting opinions I would share. I would speak articulately and express myself without fear of rejection because someone disagrees. Let 'em! I would be much more helpful to others, because I would know my effort was worth it, so I wouldn't hold back. Finally, I would just be me and let the "chips fall where they may." So...I think I'll do just that!
Be able to talk to boys
