Shyness Support Group
Shyness is a feeling of insecurity that certain people experience while being among others, talking with others, asking favors of others, etc. The initial cause of shyness can vary. Scientists have located some genetic data that supports the hypothesis that shyness is at least partially genetic.

So, I live in a house that isn't mine. I pay rent and I share their bathroom and kitchen. I hate interacting with them, but not because they are awful people, but because I'm extremely awkward and they make me uncomfortable. I try to time everything when they're in the house, I walk the most around the house when they're at work (they come home early, though) and I even try to time my bathroom visits when they are not downstairs.
The biggest issue however is making food. It's a small kitchen and I despise making food when they're downstairs, and it's literally impossible to make more food when they are already making theirs (because of the lack of space). So I usually wait until at least 11PM, when they are asleep, but that obviously leaves me extremely hungry through the day, but that feels "better" than having to interact with them.
I can't even make proper food. Just sandwiches and cereal, once I do decide to eat during the night, because I'm afraid I'll set off the fire alarm that seems to go off at every single little bit of smoke.
I genuinely don't know what to do. I feel weak and dizzy and I'm eating just enough not to starve, but I'm clearly not getting the food I need either.
I don't know.

Hope the dog days of summer aren't getting you down!

You should be able to make your dinner eighter before they do while they are watching tv in living room or whatever. Or after they finish eating. I rented a room in an apartment with an older lady when I was in my early twenties. I was extremely shy. Didn't really talk to her. Made my dinner after she ate. So I was alone in the kitchen. Stayed in my room unless it was meal time or I had to go to the bathroom. You should see a therapist. It can help.
