Bathing suits

Hello, summer is here and I have always been so shy about my body. My friends are starting to go to pool parties and the beach and wear very small bikinis that barely cover anything. I have been showing up with an excuse every time why I don't have my bathing suit. It is at the point where I just stop going or get one of these suits. I don't know what to do.

Can you buy the bathing suit and wear a tee shirt on over it. Saying you don't want to get skin cancer or you burn easily? Or buy a two piece bathing suit but one with more coverage?

I agree with @Tired.

Take a look around, even check for bathing suits online, for some cute bathing suits that cover up the things you want to cover up.

I have seen some real cute ones online that aren't revealing at all.

Your friends will end up admiring your cute, unique bathing suit.

Showing all is not necessarily better. Or more attractive.

Thanks. It’s like showing off is what their intentions are. They talk about how people are going to react to them and plan on what they are going to do. It’s like a big game for them. I just pretend to go along with it and inside I am jealous of them. We live in Vermont where you can’t get in trouble for being naked outside if you aren’t doing in a way that is inappropriate. They are experimenting with bikinidares now.
