Herpes zoster, colloquially known as shingles, is the reactivation of varicella zoster virus, leading to a crop of painful blisters over the area of a dermatome. It occurs very rarely in children and adults, but its incidence is high in the elderly (over 60), as well as in any age group of immunocompromised patients.
I had shingles 6 months ago on my right side on hip and thigh area. I now have burning pain in my right foot going in a line from my big toe up the center of my foot and sometimes up my leg. Can this be from the shingles? I also have sjogren's and am immune compromised.

have a great day - try to put some cold water on it when it is burning - I have to put my head and scalp in the sink with cold water to calm it down
