Shingles Support Group
Herpes zoster, colloquially known as shingles, is the reactivation of varicella zoster virus, leading to a crop of painful blisters over the area of a dermatome. It occurs very rarely in children and adults, but its incidence is high in the elderly (over 60), as well as in any age group of immunocompromised patients.
also have you had your vitamin d checked lately? being on meds for chronic pain there is a good article by mayo clinic about low vitamin e levels and pain meds you can google if you like to read it.
i was so sore i couldn't hardly get out of bed after sleeping all night. weird. but my d was incredibly low and i feel better.
then i had to work on the menopause thing. yuck! but i got on a little hormones and cut my sugar and carbs and this has helped that. i also have atn facial pain and a disc issue in my neck (haven't dealt with neck) it is a lot like you. but try to deal with worse symptoms first and please get your vitamin d level checked. any dr can run simple blood test and check your levels.
blessing for pain free days for you
