Tell us about your personal experience with Valtrex as a treatment: Has it worked? Have you had any issues? Any recommendations or tips?

this is my first ob.
i finished first round of valtrex tuesday night. went back and got a second round(this time 5 day suppy)
its definitly starting to work. i have a sore throat again ..and an occasional headache but other then that its been ok.
i tried that tea tree oil and if ya'll havent tried it. GO GET IT! lol (walmart carries it for less the 5 bucks for 2 oz)
that stuff is great for the itching!!!!!

i am way too broke to take this everyday. although i always keep a supply of the 1 gram pills. when you start to feel a breakout coming on, which you can learn to detect way before it happens, i take 3 of the one gram pills throughout the span of one day. and that knocks it right out!. this is what i have been doing for a year and i have never had a breakout since my primary one. :)
