So now the waiting game begins. We were not alwalys safe and we had anal sex twice. I know I am in the high risk group and I am scared! I love him and I know we both messed up and I am really worried about him. We find out his C4 counts tomorrow. As for now I tested negative but that doesn't mean much. I just read that it can be transmitted through open mouth kissing! Can that really be possible. Is our intimacy really going to be limited to touching? Any advice for me?

Hi I have been HIV positive for 15 plus years unfortulnatly a male can transfer the virus easier to a female then a female to male it is the SAD TRUTH. SO YOU MUST ALWAYS USE PROTECTION.......... Have the taken a VIRAL LOAD? this detects how much virus is in the blood... Cd4 is your immune system my CD4use to be at 800 well it dropped due to fighting off herpes that I guess in truth I was in DENIEL yet I had a feeling I had for 15 years as well but just started having outbreaks again... Anyway My point is your CD4 will go up and down with cold virusis etc when your body has to fight off stuff. My Viral Load is normally undetectible is now 48 bad would be in the 1000 So I am ok I am a non progressor I have been without meds. But this is not sayin any individual will be like me YOU are taking a giant risk.....

Not only are you at great risk of getting infectet but once infected if you continue to have unprotected sex you can mingle your HIV again and get a HIV strain that can become a super HIV strain resistaint to medication Hard to treat. Hon I am not trying to scare you I am just trying to tell it to you how I heard it....

See I have never passed this on YET so we had been unprotected I had 2 kids both negative but my hubby refuses to use protection I make him test all the time if he comes up positive we use protection I am lucky, I am a non progressor. But I think he does not care I think he has a death wish. Most of the time I sneak a condom on him he is too drunk to tell... LOL but Please I am not trying to be mean I am just scared for you.
