But I am pretty sure that I have genital warts. When I told my ex husband about it he is pretty much blaming me for it and he says now he is probably gonna have it too. The thing is that he had been with 2 girls since our separation and I had been with one guy and then afterwards we had gotten together a few more times. I know that makes me sound like a total slut, but I made a mistake. I guess, I am just angry, because I know that I don't sleep around, but the 2 girls he was with he didn't even really know. We were married for almost 7 years and together for almost 9. So I don't really see anything wrong with us being together again so that's why I did it. He was my husband at one time. But now I think I got an STD from him but he is denying because he doesn't have any symptoms like I do. I am so confused and scared and just don't know what to do and if this going to effect the rest of my life. Help!!!!

go get tested. tell him to get tested if he hasn't already. the both of u need to tell all ur sexual partners to get tested as well. at this point it doesnt matter who gave it to who cuz u have it. if it is really bothering u, u could try therapy. talk to a professional as well as talking to us on here. don't freak out too much. its gonna be ok. its not the end of the world, although it might feel like it. he's being a jerk, ppl get scared and mad when there is talk of STD. im here if u ever need to talk. xxxxxx

Did you wear a condom with the other 2 men? I dont think you sound like a slut hell what is a slut anyway? Who is to label another. Anyway if you wore a condom and it didnt break than I would have to think you prob. got it from you'r hubby. Men usually take longer to show sign's of an std. Good luck

The first thing you need to do is go in and get tested. Request a FULL std screening including herpes. You need to ask for each test, since there is no "official" std screening test. If you do have HPV, then you will need to be treated. Warts can continue to grow and spread, so you want to catch them early.

There is no test for HPV in men unless he has symptoms. Unless he shows symptoms, there is no way to know if he has the virus. He should go in for full testing anyway! Don't worry about his reaction right now. You did what you needed to do by informing him that he may have been exposed. Now his actions are up to him. Just do what you can to care for yourself!

While using a condom is always a good idea, it will not totally protect you from HPV or HSV. Both of these viruses are spread by skin to skin contact. Since a condom does not cover the entire area,(any part of the body covered by a pair of boxer shorts) you can still spread it.

Do not beat yourself up! 80% of women catch HPV at some point. If that is what you have, then you are in very good company!
