Yes, your mother will learn that you are sexually active and that the results of GW comes from sex. But there are worse things that she could have learned. I am assuming that you are not a child, and in this day and age sex is so common amongst individuals over the age of around 14 that I am sure she will be supportive. I told my mother and I am 27, she wasnt shocked that I was intimate and I am not over close with her but she has been really supportive since I told her. I can tell you that I have had one biopsied (cut off) and abut 9 burned off. The most painful thing in the surgery is the needle they use to numb you. The healing is slightly painful but much more annoying, as they itch as they heal. Ask your doctor if he or she has ever had them removed before they say it will be painful. I did not think the procedure was too painful, neosprin pain relief works and if you really think it hurts, your doc can perscribe numbing cream.
Best of luck! And join HPV group we love meeting new friends and sharing info!
Plus, consider yourself lucky and keep in mind the luck runs thin quick. There's more and worse STDs out there and pretty easy to find :P
Good luck!
