I was engaged to be married. 24 days ago my fiancee was killed.
Last monday I went to the dr with some strange symptoms I've never had before.
Today they called me and I went back to get my results; I have been diagnosed with herpes type 2.
My life was already upside down with the loss of the man I was going to marry, and now it's even more upside down. I am so terrified. I feel so dirty. So ugly. I don't know how to tell my family and friends. I am scared of being judged.
And now I am scared that when I am finally ready to get into the dating game, nobody will ever want me because I am tainted with this disgusting virus.
I have no idea who it came from. Either my fiancee, or another man I was with last year who cheated on me unknown amount of times. Those are the only 2 I've been with without a condom.
So..I'm just scared and depressed..

To find out that you have herpes at a time like this is beyond terrible and so much more than you should have to handle. Know that you are not alone. On this site and in your life there are people who care about you. No illness, no virus can change who you are or make you unlovable.
