My mom was ready to marry her 3rd husbened when she made me and my sisters move in with him and his 3 sons... I was forced to sleep in the same room as the two older boys... He was younger, but bigger... I let it go on for almost 2 years...
I told my mom 2 months before the weding in hopes she would call it off and get me and my sisters out of there... When i told her she told me i wasnt able to tell anyone, or i would never see her or my sisters again... So i didnt...
She later told me that i made up the whole thing for atention, and if anything did happen i asked for it...
My mom was my bestfriend and that almost hurt me as much as the abuse did... Nothing ever happened, and my 2 little sisters are still living in the same house as my abuser (which i blame myself for)...
I wrote him a letter... Explaing how i fell, what he did to me, and most of all i want him to tell my mom that it happened...
I understand that the likely hood of him doing that is slim, and im ready for that... I just want to know that i tryed, and did all i can...
I Will also send a copy to my mother... I need to know if anyone thinks this is a good or bad idea??? PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME!!!

I think that contacting the authorities would be your best bet. Honestly especially since there are two minors living in that house. I would keep myself away from them and let it be taken care of legally.

I really hope you can help your sisters out of a horrific situation. You would be their angel sweetie.
How many times have we wished someone would have stepped up for us?

I think mrsjacket has some good pointers there... I think it's really up to you in the end. Follow your intuition... your gut instinct on what you should do...
I personally think you should tell the authorities because those young ones are still living with him and I think that they should be safe. As to whether or not to hand the letter to them...that is up to you...

I agree with these two people here. Yes your letter is a good idea but also the safety and well being of others is at stake too, you must call the authorities. You must do what is in your power to save the other two from that life. it's up to you to tell someone who will listen. I give you strength and support today and tomorrow to really think of what's in your heart and soul. In the end, you live with you and only you can decide. I accept you for whatever you decide to do. i wrote a letter to my abuser but it was about 2 yrs after he died and i just wanted to write it to get my feelings out after i was done i read it outloud and burned it i will admit that it did help me

Ditto above. Be strong, and if the shit hits the fan, everyone here will support you. It's a crappy situation. I think sending the letter to your Mum is a great idea. It's sad that she didn't protect you.

You guys i already did... Well i told a social worker but because my mom told me that i couldnt tell anyone i didnt just come out and say it right away... My mom went in with him and defended him and said that i made it all up... The guy was an ass hole and told me he was probably just cerious i kept droping every hint to the guy i even starte to cry but it was so acward that he convinced me that it was true... Thanks for the advise but the legal system feel through for me... Idk what else to do....
