Who / how should I tell

I posted on here a few days ago explaining what happened to me when I was 10 I got a lot of feedback saying I should tell someone however I don’t even know how I would start the conversation. Who I would tell. Who would trust me . Someone please give me advice on who to tell. I thought about telling a teacher instead of my parents but I think teachers by law have to tell parents if they know sexual abuse has happened

Use the internet to find your local rape crisis center and then see if there website has a chat facility. If not think about calling them. The people at the rape center will be trained and non judgemental.
Also look up the website for RAINN, I think they have a chat facility. In either event you can ask to be anonymous. And they will help you with coping strategies, listen too your story and be supportive with information.

oh god,, i'm a victim of sexual abuse, happened about your age and lasted until i was 14. I never got treatment because nobody knew . and it destroyed me 20 years later. i'm not blowing smoke up your ass, this is very very but sadly true. Look at me now, i was born a boy now i dont want anything to do with men, even hated being one. I was a parent and love my children more then myself, but under very wrong circumstances found myself repeating the sin myself, oh god these were my own children, my blood, oh god how could i do that? I was the victim now i was the predator. it was only once, but it destroyed me for ever. that was 25 years ago and i still hate myself for it. SO PLEASE TELL SOMEONE ! !, PLEASE DONT REPEAT MY MISTAKE! ! tell your school counselor,, your parents will find out but i cant see how they wouldnt, or any reason they shouldn't

Hi, I hipe this gets better, that you get help.. I dont want you to get hurt anymore. Talk to someone. A parent, a friends parent, the police, a school councelor, or teacher. Go to Rainn.org, they have a chat sight. Talk to someone get help if you can. You are strong.

Im not sure where you are. But here teachers are required to report it to whatever network. A friends mom called cps about my abuse and cps talked to me first and then my parents were called. I had already told my mom and she didnt believe me and did nothing. So cps actually drove us to the police department for me to tell. It was hard but it was the absolutely best thing. I was 15, I was no longer being hurt because it got reported. Your strong you can do this and get through it.
