When I really need to be comforted I listen to Enya. As one of my friends said of Enya, "she massages my heart". Once I put on a CD of Enya, got my teddy bear, who I named Little Jeanette and danced to the sound of Enya. Josh Groban's song "You Raise me Up" is a song of hope and gratefulness for all of those people in my life who have raised me up in my darkest of times in my recovery, especially the words, You Raised me up so I can stand on mountains, you raised me up to walk on stormy seas. I like Tracy Chapmans raspy voice. But all in all Enya is the person I listen to when my soul needs healing.
My favorite "feel good, move on" song right now is Unbreakable by Fireflight. I also listen to Life Is Beautiful by Sixx A.M. a lot.
