Yday cps came to my door stating my daughter 10 had told the counselor that her 13 yr old brother touched her on numerous occasions. I had to take her to hospital to get checked and they said nothing has happened to her as far as tht...today she has appt to tell wht happened and my eyes are swelled from crying. It's so hard bc it's both of your children and I feel so dead inside and no one I know understands...please anyone please just help with anything
It was scary for all of us, but most of all, the threat to breaking up our family was probably the worst part. Our dad had to live away from our home for several months while he was under investigation, nothing credible was ever found, but it really affected our family. Seek counseling and seek all the help you can get for all of you. Get to the truth as well as what positive changes that can be made to ensure your daughter's safety and your son's well being in being addressed on his actions and consequences that will follow. Seek peace and be as calm as you can, your children are looking to you to help them and to guide them lovingly. Be transparent, firm, yet loving at all times. Sounds like both of them are searching and seeking for help. Guide them as best as you can. You've got this Mom!!! Love them and help them as best as you can.
