Thoughts of getting raped

Sometimes, I will think of a situation where I could be raped, and I end up in the hospital. These thoughts make no sense to me.
They aren't lije what happend.
I only get scared, anxious and sad.

Why do I have these thoughts?

If that's not what happened to you yet you have those thoughts, is it possible that whatever did happen to you, that's what it felt like? As if you'd been raped and needed hospitalization?

Are you working with a therapist to help you sort out your feelings and to help you heal?

I do see someone.it isn't akways about the abuse.
While I'm in the hospital, I have a friend come and hold me.
I wonder if these thoughts are telling me I need to be nurtured??

I would say yes, maybe it is that you want to feel nurtured by a friend and that like Donnawanda told you, maybe it is because it feels like what happened make you feel like you needed to be hospitalized and cared of. Or maybe it is that you think about the rape and these thoughts come up because they are related to this or another situation.
