A lot of people on here have mentioned writing letters to their therapists, instead of saying what happened out loud. That might work for you, too.
Therapists have heard a whole lot of terrible things, just to become a therapist. I don't think there is much that they are not aware of, what people can be capable of doing to other people. Why are you so anxious about telling your therapist? Do you think your therapist will think YOU are disgusting? You are not, and the only person your therapist may think is disgusting is your cousin. I know how hard it is to come out and talk about the things that have happened to you, but your therapist can and will help you to lose that self disgust, but you have to actually TALK about what is bothering you. There were some things that my brother did to me and made me watch that were so incredibly disgusting and nasty that I really had a hard time talking about it. My therapist actually flinched and made a face when she heard me say it, but she also made it clear that a person who would do such things and make a little girl watch had to have something seriously wrong with them. I did nothing wrong, I just did what I had to to survive. And she made me see that and it became, finally, TRUTH for me. I had done nothing wrong or disgusting. I just did what I had to for my own survival. So did you. And I hope your therapist can help you see the truth of that, and believe it in your heart.
Sometimes, when I have a too hard time talking about things I will write it down and have my therapist read it. Then, I will ask her to tell me how she thinks about me and about it and then i will decide if I am ready to talk about it to her or not.
Good luck!
