I came across this site on a whim because I wanted to take action and start healing. I don’t have people that I can talk to about this subject because whenever I try to talk to someone I can tell that they get uncomfortable so I stop and it just leaves me feeling worse. I hope to find some people who are unfortunate enough to relate to me. I’m not looking to be cured but I need to be heard... I’m tired of sexual abuse having control over my life so I guess I’m trying something new... that’s all for now.
I hear you and want you to know that sexual abuse is not something that is "cured" but you can heal the wounds.

I just joined this community today in search of others who also are going through the same thing as myself. Your post spoke out to me because for the longest I dealt with "not being heard" and felt like being sexually abused didnt matter to anyone but myself. I just want you to know that you are definitely heard by myself and many others here. You have our support no matter how long it takes for you to heal.
