I am also really hurt that someone feels that way about me. I had a crush on a male dance instructor and didn't realize I was having hormone problems after a surgery. I guess our dancing got too sexual, although I never touched him inappropriately, and he ended up feeling traumatized. This taught me to have more compassion for men and not to always see myself as a victim. It hurts so much that he can't stand me.
I saw my uncle recently, about 30 years have passed since the molestation. I was surprised how I handled myself. I didn't kill him. I will never be his friend. I haven't approached my uncle about the abuse. I think it would be better for me to have a conversation with him about his disgusting actions. I'm just not ready yet.
My elderly grandmother lives with him now. I'm in a pickle, I want to visit my grandmother, but I'm feeling a certain way about seeing him. I'm praying to God about it. Whatever I chose it's important that I am okay with my own decision.
